... has been done, the steels are up and the the joists being fitted. The subterranean shell is nearing completion.

Gimme shelter...
... the cottage needs to have a complete shelter over it in order to do the restoration, it will emerge again next year...

... we hope not but all the brick panels will need to be removed in order to conserve and repair the timber frame

I can see clearly now...
Yes, with the steel frame almost finished a clear shape is now visible. All the stonework on the garage/workshop is about a week away from completion

There's Alot Going On...
- ... the refurbishment of the cottage starts with erecting scaffolding to stabilise the timber framework ... it will take 4 days to finish the scaffolding
- ... taking the final few trees out ready for landscape planning
- ... garage/workshop getting final stone laid and roof trusses on ready for the roof platform
- ... the steel is being erected for the main extension... will take a week to complete.
